How far along? 5 weeks 2 days

Total weight gain/loss: I don't think I've gained anything at this point yet!

Maternity clothes? Not yet!

Sleep: I am now always waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom!

Best moment: Finding out that we were pregnant!

Movement: Too early for any movement yet!

Food cravings: I have noticed that I crave Alfredo! I am not into sweets, which is odd for me, but I'm always craving a good home-cooked meal!

Morning sickness: Nothing too bad yet. I heard that morning sickness comes around 6 weeks so we will see!

Mood Changes: Nothing that I've noticed yet!

Gender: We want to find out but not until we are around 20 weeks.

Belly Button in or out? In

Stretch Marks? None, I will try to prevent these by applying Cocoa Butter on myself morning and night. It worked for my sister!

What I miss: Nothing yet!

What I am looking forward to: My first Doctor appointment on January 4th. I will be 10 weeks at that time so I'm hoping I get to hear the heartbeat and get an ultrasound!

Wisdom: I'm glad my sister went though this before I did. So she will give me great advice! :-)

Milestones: Finding out we are pregnant, and looking forward to announcing to our families at Christmas!

Chinese Gender Chart

This chart - found in an ancient royal tomb near Beijing is said to be over 90% accurate in predicting your baby's gender! I found this interesting chart on the bump.com. To obtain results, you enter your age and the month of conception and then it gives you results. Looks like we might be welcoming a baby BOY into this world come August!

Keeping our Secret!

We want to wait and tell our families that we are pregnant at Christmas. I will be about 9 weeks at that time! So until then, I hope I am not offered drinks and have to refuse them! Here is what has happened so far:

Thanksgiving was on Thursday, November 25. It was so hard not to tell anyone that we are pregnant! I had to decline wine and I hope nobody figured it out!

On Saturday, November 27, I went to a Lorie Line concert with Kyle's mom, sisters, and aunt. After the concert, we went out to eat at Cancun's in Eau Claire. And sure enough, I had to decline the Margarita's!! That is so not me to decline that! I think everyone is getting suspicious but who knows!

Next events are Kyle's sister's Birthday on December 12th, my sister's Birthday on December 17th, and we are having Christmas at my Aunt's house on December 18th! I sure hope nobody offers me anything to drink at these events! We will see!

We're having a BABY!

We found out that we were pregnant on Sunday, November 21, 2010. I have been charting and noticed that my temperature was staying high, so I decided to test. It was positive! Just to be sure, I tested 4 more times on different days! My due date is August 2, 2011! Let the fun begin! =)
